 FAQsMCUC > FAQs How much will the facility cost? How is the facility being funded? The projected cost of Phase I of the MCUC is $9 million. The funds for the project have come from a variety of public and private sources. The land for the project was gifted from the Medina County Board of Commissioners to The University of Akron. Additionally, Congressman Regula, State Senator Amstutz and State Representatives Calvert and Gibbs were successful in securing both federal and state appropriations for the project. Other funds were contributed by private donors from within Medina County and members of The University of Akron faculty and staff. <-- Go Back |
