 FAQsMCUC > FAQs Is the University Center the same thing as a branch campus? No. The concept of the University Center goes beyond the typical model of a branch campus. With an emphasis on flexibility, and “just-in-time” delivery of programming, the Center will bring together a unique blend of traditional college coursework and workforce development programs customized according to the demands of local students and businesses. In keeping with this concept of flexibility, there will be no resident faculty at the Center. Instead faculty will be pulled from existing resources as the need arises for a particular class. Likewise programming might also be delivered by partnering with universities or other educational and industry organizations. The bottom line is that as changes in the workplace yield new demands on the workforce, the University Center will adapt by offering a flexible, dynamic curriculum tied to these changing needs. <-- Go Back |
